PRESS: MTS holds talks to acquire ticket platform TicketsCloud

MOSCOW, Mar 6 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operator MTS’ subsidiaries that develop ticket services and promotion are holding talks to acquire ticket platform TicketsCloud from its founder Yegor Yegerev, business daily Kommersant reported on Monday.

Sources told the daily that MTS Entertainment wants to buy TicketsCloud and the negotiations are “already at the final stage” and the platform has passed “the presale audit.”

With the new asset, MTS will strengthen its positions in the segment and expand the option of collection and processing of user big data to further exploit them in recommendation algorithms, a person close to the talks told the daily.

One of the sources said that the company is valued at 500 million to 1 billion rubles, while another source mentioned 2 billion rubles.

Colisium International Music Forum producer Sergei Babich estimated Tickets Cloud at 2.2–2.4 billion rubles.
